Walk in Salt Spray Corrosion Chamber

Walk in Salt Fog Spray Chambers help simulate an accelerating salty corrosion environment and weather for automotive corrosion testing, to evaluate the corrosion resistance of certain materials’ surface when they are exposed to such a corrosion environment.

Overview

The Walk in Salt Spray Chambers can be used as a corrosion test and can also be used to test the deterioration of non-metallic materials caused by the influence of salt spray and can also be used to assess the performance changes of components and equipment in a salt spray environment.

This large salt spray chambers bring salt fog spray, temperature and humidity together. We have such test chambers compliant with test standards ASTM B117-2009, Mil-Std-810G, DIN 50 021, DIN EN ISO 9227-2006, CNS 4159, CASS, JIS H8502, IEC 68-2-52etc.

Features

  • The walk-in salt spray chambers are one of the “three defenses” (humid heat, salt spray, mold) test equipment for artificial climate environments, and is used to study the adaptability and reliability of various environments in machinery, defense industry, light industry electronics, instrumentation and other industries. Temperature ranges from -40 °C and to +80 °C.
  • Structure and materials are PP and stainless anti-rust steel plates, with a long lifetime.
  • Programmable controlling system, easy to operate.
  • With efficient air ventilation device to flush out salt fog.
  • Saturators: In order to prevent water replenishment from affecting the spray, a double saturator is used, which can automatically switch to add water, and the spray will not be interrupted during water replenishment.
  • PLC based brand touch-screen controller, with a simple programming of all processes.
  • The nozzle adopts the Benoit theory to absorb salt water and atomize, which will make the mist diffuse and fall naturally on the test specimen.
  • Can realize salt spray, dry, wet, static, condensation, spray and other cyclic corrosion tests.
  • It adopts automatic water filling and fault warning function.
  • High temperature resistance, strong anti-aging performance, good appearance texture.
  • Multiple protections for alarms and safety.
